Getting around Napier

The local airport is Hawke’s Bay Airport (NPE), which is about a ten-minute drive to downtown.

Paul and Sandra say that is a good idea to rent a car to be able to travel to places outside of the city. For the best offers, visit Avis, Budget, or Hertz. But, if you’re staying in the central part of town, you don’t need a car. Uber and Ola are excellent ways to get around.
