Getting around Tel Aviv

The local airport is Ben Gurion Airport (TLV), which is about a 25-minute drive to Tel Aviv.

Mark says that public transportation is relatively inexpensive. Each local ride should cost less than $2 per person. There are also trains or buses if you want to visit other parts of Israel.

Parking is expensive and can be difficult to find. However, if you must rent a car, visit Avis, Budget, or Hertz for the best offers.

Uber and Lyft are excellent ways to get around. Mark suggests using the Gett app to order a taxi in English.
