I’m really excited to interview Tyler Weaver of Relentless Finances about Cincinnati, Ohio. Tyler’s tips for the best things to do in Cincinnati are awesome because he went to college in Cincinnati, moved away for a couple of years, then came back to start his business and invest in the local community. He loves how the city continues to evolve while maintaining a low cost of living.

Getting around Cincinnati, Ohio

The local airport is Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), which is a 20-minute drive to downtown.

Tyler says that if you’re staying downtown or in Over The Rhine, there’s no need to rent a car. You can use the city’s Go Metro bus service to get around the city center. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are excellent ways to get around.

Overall, Cincinnati is a car city, and if you’re not staying downtown or want to explore attractions and restaurants outside the city core, then you’ll want to have a car. For the best offers, visit Avis, Budget, or Hertz.

When you only need a car for a couple of hours, you can rent by the hour with Zipcar. Join now to get $25 loaded into your account.
