Getting around Tulum
The local airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is about 1.5 hours from Tulum. Use our Expedia tool below to find flight, hotel, and rental car options.
Katrina says that, if you’re staying downtown, there’s no need to rent a car. Biking around Tulum is a great option and they also have great public transportation. Most visitors take a taxi, shuttle, or guided tour if they’re exploring outside the city core.
