I’m really excited to interview Jocelyn Pearson of The Scholarship System about Curaçao. Jocelyn’s tips for the best things to do in Curaçao are awesome because she moved to Curaçao with her husband when he got a job offer there. She works online and they’ve always talked about living someplace internationally. However, they had to Google where Curaçao was before saying yes to the opportunity.

Getting around Curaçao

The local airport is Curaçao International Airport (CUR), which is in the middle of the island.

Jocelyn says that you should rent a car when visiting because public transportation is not convenient and taxis can be expensive. A one-way taxi ride can be as much as a car rental for the entire day. For the best offers, visit Avis, Budget, or Hertz. Unfortunately, there are no ridesharing services available on the island.
