Getting around Gulfport

The local airport is Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport (GPT), which is about a 10-minute drive to downtown.

Lisa says that having a car is generally necessary when visiting Coastal Mississippi. For the best offers, visit Avis, Budget, or Hertz.

You may also take the Route 34 – Pass Road bus between Biloxi and Gulfport, but you’ll still need a vehicle to get from one attraction to another. Uber and Lyft are excellent ways to get around within the city. However, it will be expensive if you decide to travel between cities along the coast.
