I’m really excited to interview Lyle and Leanne McCabe of Beach Travel Wine about Queenstown, New Zealand. Lyle and Leanne’s tips for the best things to do in Queenstown are awesome because they travel the globe sampling the best wine, and they believe this is one of the most beautiful places in the world. They’ve been to Queenstown numerous times with their family for fun and adventure.

Getting around Queenstown
The local airport is Queenstown Airport (ZQN), which is about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown. Use our Expedia tool below to find flight, hotel, and rental car options.
Lyle and Leanne say that if you’re staying downtown and plan to stay right in the local area, there’s no need to rent a car. But, if you wish to travel outside of Queenstown to explore local attractions, then you should rent one. For the best rental car offers, visit Avis, Budget, or Hertz.
