Getting around Raleigh
The local airport is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), which is about a twenty-minute drive to downtown.
Steve says that, if you’re staying downtown, there’s no need to rent a car. Uber and Lyft are excellent ways to get around. And I’ve personally found the downtown area very walkable.

Who is Steve Mangano?
Steve Mangano is the founder of the CurEat app, a positive, national restaurant-finding app that is a g digital community of curious eaters sharing stories, restaurant recommendations, and culinary hootenannies. Users often referred to it as the Spotify of restaurants because of the personalized dining recommendations that they receive.
He received a degree in hospitality management from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, before working for Hilton Hotels in Miami and the New York area, and consulting with Fortune 500 companies and international clients. With the creation of CurEat, Steve is able to marry his love of travel, deep appreciation for the culinary community, technology experience, and entrepreneurial spirit to create a positive restaurant-finding experience.
