Getting around Tulum

The local airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is about 1.5 hours from Tulum.

Katrina says that, if you’re staying downtown, there’s no need to rent a car. Biking around Tulum is a great option and they also have great public transportation. Most visitors take a taxi, shuttle, or guided tour if they’re exploring outside the city core.
