I’m really excited to interview Daniel and Izdihar Skidmore of Riad La Vie about Marrakech, Morocco. Daniel and Izdihar’s tips for the best things to do in Marrakech are awesome because Izdihar grew up in Morocco and she met Dan during a Top Secret mission. During a vacation in Morocco, a business opportunity presented itself, and, now, they own a boutique hotel that blends old-world charm and modern conveniences.

Getting around Marrakech
The local airport is Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK), which is about a 20-minute drive into the city.
Daniel and Izdihar say that there’s no need to rent a car since most attractions are accessible on foot. While Uber and Lyft are not available in Marrakech, taxis are abundant when you don’t feel like walking. You can also rent a car for about $30 a day if you want your own private ride. For the best offers, visit Avis, Budget, or Hertz.
