Getting around Maui
The local airport is Kahului Airport (OGG), which is about 20 minutes from the center of Maui.
Kim Julen says that you will want a car when you visit. There isn’t public transportation available and many attractions are close, but not necessarily walking distance.
You can use Uber and Lyft and these are excellent ways to get around.
